In December 2007, a co-production of Giselle (Choreography by Monique Loudieres) between the ESDC and Nice Opera House brought together dancers from the Ballets de l’Opera de Nice, Cannes Jeune Ballet, Etoile dancers from the Opera de Paris and Nice Opera House’s orchestra on the same stage.

This successful experience encouraged the ESDC and Nice Opera House to strengthen their relationship for future projects.
