A Dance Partnership

The ESDC has a privileged relationship with several regional, national and international dance training centres, particularly with the Conservatoire a Rayonnement Regional – Nice CRR (please refer to the International Section for our international partners). The School is part of the network of six Ecoles Superieures de Danse, set up by the Culture and Communication Ministry. Constant exchanges are taking place with these schools in order to improve the artistic choreographic training of the students. These exchanges allowed us to actively take part to the definition of the system of reference for the dancer’s career and to the set up of the new national diploma (DNSP).

Partnerships are also established with international contests like the Prix de Lausanne and dance companies in order to develop choreographic experiences and maintain a high employment rate of graduating dancers (please refer to the Professional section).

Other artistic partnerships

The ESDC implements an active partnership policy with the major local and regional artistic training centres:

• Cannes Regional Acting School
• Cannes Music & Art Conservatoire
• Costume department of Cannes Les Coteaux Vocational Training School

Under the supervision of their relevant tutors, final year students from these schools gather their experience and energy in a creation process.

This process naturally aims at creating a cultural breeding ground for young artists capable of building a common project.
